Rumor: Is Williamson County throwing away unused vaccine?

Fact: No, Williamson County is not throwing away unused vaccine. The vaccine waitlist is used to fill slots and administer any remaining vaccine so that no doses are discarded.

Rumor: The Tennessee Department of Health has changed the sign-up process again. Do I need to re-register?

Fact: No, you do not need to re-register. The waitlist process itself has not changed. If you have signed up for the waitlist on SignUpGenius you do NOT need to register on the new platform.

Rumor: If I just show up to the vaccination site, don't they have to give me a vaccine?

Fact: No, an appointment given by the TN Department of Health is required for a vaccination. Appointments will be limited based on vaccine availability.

Currently only those in phases 1a1, 1a2, 1b and those who are 65 years of age or older are eligible to receive a vaccination appointment. Each individual must have their own appointment.
