Please be aware that YOU ARE required to be at the polling location no later than your specified time and remain there until the Officer of Election dismisses you at the appropriate time. Polling place hours are 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. You may leave the polling place when your duties are complete. Please note that a mandatory training class is required before any election.

Polling Place Positions

REGISTRATION CLERK: This person greets the voters and checks to make sure they are registered, prints a ballot application and has voter sign a signature list, then sends them to the voting machine. ELECTION DAY PAY $125

VOTING MACHINE OPERATOR: This person will assist the voter at the voting machine. ELECTION DAY PAY $125

OFFICER OF ELECTION: This person is responsible for overseeing all procedures and workers at the precinct polling place on Election Day. ELECTION DAY PAY $160 (TRANSPORTING ELECTION DAY SUPPLIES: $20)

PROVISIONAL JUDGE: This person is responsible for looking up voters who are not found on our voting rolls and allowing voter to vote a provisional ballot. ELECTION DAY PAY: $140

ALL POLL OFFICIALS WILL BE PAID $25 FOR EACH TRAINING CLASS
