Marriage License

Requirements


  • Both parties must be present
  • Cash only
  • Eighteen years of age or older
  • License is good for 30 days anywhere in the State of Tennessee
  • No waiting period
  • Pre-marital counseling certificate (form must be NOTARIZED)
  • Marriage license (on line application) (must click on tab marked Williamson)
  • Provide driver's license
  • Social Security card
  • Passports
  • Copy of final divorce decree, signed by the Judge

Fee


  • $40 with pre-marital counseling
  • $100 without counseling certification


Beer Permits

Application


Meeting


  • Last Monday of each month
  • The meeting is advertised

Fee


  • $255 paid at time application filed

  • Outside city limits

 Permit


  • Issued when approved by Beer Board

  • Countywide except for doctors, lawyers, banks, and insurances companies exempt

Fee


  • Opening date prior to January 1, 2010 application fee is $22 any opening date of business January 1, 2010 or after application fee is $15

  • Approval of Codes Department City Codes Departments - located in cities
  • Home-based business
  • Franklin, Nolensville, Spring Hill, Fairview and Brentwood (County Codes Department - located in county)
