Williamson County Health Department

wellThe Division of Laboratory Services at the state’s health department is offering FREE well-water test kits.  The kits are available at no charge through July 2023.  The kit includes:  gloves, bottles and directions for sampling water from the faucet.   Also included is a prepaid shipping label.  Water samples will be tested for Total Coliform and E. coli, Fluoride, Nitrite, Nitrate, Total Dissolved Solids, Lead, Copper and Arsenic.  These are common contaminants that should be checked annually according to the EPA.

COVID-19 and Monkeypox Vaccine 

 

Monkeypox vaccines are available from 8:30a – 10:30a, Monday – Friday at the Franklin Clinic.  The health department’s COVID-19 vaccination hours are 1:30p – 3:30p, Monday – Friday.  No appointment is required, and you do not have to be a Williamson County resident to receive a vaccine. 

The health department is offering Pfizer vaccines and bivalent boosters.  For more information about the new updated COVID-19 boosters, please read the CDC and FDA updates or check with your local provider.

COVID-19 FREE self-test kits are available during the health department’s normal business hours at both Franklin and Fairview Clinic locations.

Are you new to Williamson County and need your child’s immunization information transferred for enrollment into daycare, preschool or school? Please click here, complete the demographic information requested, and attach your child’s immunization information in PDF format. A separate demographic form will be required for each child you wish to have records transferred.
